Get ready to visit the home of the extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities, The Egyptian Museum. It has more than 120,000 precious items on display.
From sculpted jewelry to colossal granite kings and queens, there is something for everyone.
Our tour guide will be there to highlight the secrets behind the masterpieces.
However, you will also have time to wander the museum in peace, contemplating the treasures bequeathed to us by the pharaohs, and the mysteries that surround the great dynasties.
We will then move to The Citadel of Salah El Din. The Citadel was constructed between 1176 and 1183 CE by the Ayyubid ruler Salah al-Din to protect Cairo against Crusader raids, and to establish a secure center for the government.
At the time of its construction, it was one of the most impressive and ambitious military fortification projects of its time.
After having lunch, we’ll free our souls to explore the wonderfully connected Old Cairo, which contains St. Sergi Church, where the Holy Family was concealed while they were in Egypt, the oldest synagogue in Cairo, and the Amr Ibn El Aas Mosque, where these three religions unite.
