Explore ancient Thebes’ West Bank, including the magnificent Medinet Habu.
The Temple of Medinet Habu is one of Egypt’s most important memorial temples.
It is 320 metres long (east to west) and 200 metres wide (north to south). The temple was built to honor Ramses III after he died.
We will then visit the Valley of the Kings where we will see many magnificent famous royal tombs. Here tombs were constructed for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles, and were a burial place for a period of nearly 500 years (from the 16th to 11th century BCE).
Afterwards we visit the temple of legendary female Pharaoh Hatshepsut, whose reign was one full of drama and scandal
